The first two are from my front porch. Just wanted to show what it looked like with me in sun and north in dark cloud. We did later get some decent rain. The last is just a cloud converted to black and white. I could have taken the telephone pole out (and have done on occassion) but it is there in the middle of my front yard, along with another one further to my left.

I really like the way you made use of that light, Barbara, and the view from your front porch is astounding. The view from our stoop is of other apartment buildings ... but I love New York City anyway. As for that pole, I agree that you should have left it. It's there, so why not. If it would have been a bunch of tourists with their phone cameras taking pictures of the local rocks I might have waited them out or cloned them out. But otherwise ....
