Got this in my e-mail today - I don't know if this is for real or an internet joke but if it's for real it's a really sad day for the USA

Apparently they think that putting hearts and butterflies on the new stamp will make most people not realize that the rest is Arabic and probably Not something we want to support.

REMEMBER Adamantly and vocally BOYCOTT this stamp, If/when you purchase stamps at a post office.
All you have to say is "No thank you, I do not want a Muslim Stamp on my letters!"
The Flag of the USA has always been my favorite.

I wondered why the USPS would be advertising a commercial venture on a stamp. So, I went to zazzle.com--easy to do--and you would have seen what that stamp was. I'm not so sure your statement about Obama directing the USPS to celebrate a Muslim holiday is accurate. Neither am i certain that zazzle.com stamps are legal postage--although they may be.

This email has been flying around for a while. This is a first class stamp. The postage went up earlier this year http://www.stamps.com/usps/postage-rate-increase/
This stamp is put out by zazzle. They put it on everything from Tee shirts to hats. Nothing to get worked up over.

I bought a couple of their cloth grocery bags instead of the cheapies you get for a dollar at your local grocery store. They come in different sizes and you can have one with their design on it or design your own. They have thousands of designs.
I try to do a little research before I forward emails. You know that old saying: Believe half of what you see, none of what you hear... and that goes double for the internet. I'm not putting you down, I've been there... I speak through experience. There was one going around about the Fed taking "In God We Trust" off the new Dollar coin. They did take it off the face but put it on the rim edge... took a beating on that one.

If you look at the stamp 44c has a cancelation line through it and in the lower left hand corner it has a date: 2009. Somebody did a pretty good job removing the Zazzle watermark... A Bozo No No!
