I like the brightness of the light in #1. Much more lively appearing than #2.

I like the selective lights working in this post. More times than not I will see something there that others don’t see. This is not one of those times. So I have to thanks Jack for pointing it out to us.😁

Thank you, Pete! Give me a hint which area I should search

Linda, I’m trying to draw with my finger. The outline is crude, but there’s the area I was looking at.

Oh goodness, the whole enchilada!! I would never have seen because I was finding just little faces To the upper left of where your red line begins on the left is the whiskered kitty face.

Thanks Pete!

Cool presentation! I do prefer the second one, as I got a little lost in the first. I also liked the basic color scheme. Really nice work!

You said a while back that you really love backlighting. That shows here to great effect. You got the shadows nice and dark and the glow makes a wonderful abstract.

Two Topaz filters helped achieve the look in #1. Can you find the two animal faces that resulted? Or maybe there are more??

#2 has minimal (for me) processing of the raw file.

Thanks for your time and any feedback you're willing to share.

My opinion is a lot can be achieved with this image Linda. One that comes to mind is with halloween approaching, this could be used for a goolish, haunting atmosphere !!! Excellent image even if you choose to not go any further.

Thanks so much for your interest, Dave. I achieved my goal, but you or anyone who wishes to use the pic as the basis for ghoulish is welcome!
