Old NYC and a pigeon-infused dawn

A while ago, I read about Stone Street being the oldest street in New York City, so yesterday I took the train to walk on a little bit of history. It is pedestrian only and somewhat touristy, with many restaurants. But I didn't mind, because my feet walked on the same stones as Benjamin Franklin and John Adams, just to name names.
The first shot was taken on the train downtown. The second is a two shot panagram.
The next three were taken this morning during my walk. The pigeons were restless; their food source had yet to show up.

Really nice. Hope all those pigeons don’t get aggressive.

Cool set. Way too claustrophobic for me.

Thanks for the memories.
I spent a couple of years working on various projects in Lower Manhattan.
I could never get the streets right.
They would send me to a supply house for material on Dutch St., and I would quite often get confused walking back.
It boggles the mind to think that the city's northern boundary was Wall St. at one point in time.

Just image the bio hazard load with the thousands go pigeons. Yikes!
