Same here. I have to admit, after seeing images on my grandson’s iPhone 15 Pro Max, that it has an amazing screen, but that isn’t enough to cause me to get the 15. I’ll wait for the 16. It might have an even better telephoto lens with optical zoom rather than digital zoom. Wait and see.

I jumped ship and love the creativity with the Samsung 23S ultra. The camera is fantastic and the telephoto lens are unbelievable.

Will post over the weekend. Busy working. Most of my friends call me worse for switching then they saw the zoom and were amazed but not switching. may go back if the 16 is better.,

Apple advertises that the 15 Pro Max has 5x optical zoom, in addition to 25x digital zoom. I'm throughly happy with my 14 Pro and am not interested in upgrading.

The iPhone isn’t necessarily the best phone camera out there. The Galaxy S-2 is every bit as good and has a longer telephoto range than the iPhone. It just depends on which system you prefer. For me, everything I use is Apple, so I stay with the iPhone. But not the 15. The 16 should be even better.

I might have been interested in the 15 Pro Max if it had come with more telephoto range.

Interesting discussion. I do like my 14 Pro Max, but it still has that doggone silent switch that often mutes it when I don’t want to. The 15 has solved that.

I guess that could be a problem, but I have my iPhone 13 Pro Max in a case, so it’s not easy to bump that switch. The case makes the switch inset.

Mine’s in a silicone case also but I still manage to mute the darn thing. It’s just an exceptional talent I have I guess. Try not to be too jealous. 😎😎😎

I switched the 14 Pro for the Samsung 23S Ultra for the telephoto lens which I am very happy with. Depending on what the 16 has may switch back. Who knows.
