Military War Heroes Are Suckers and Losers

Former Trump Chief of Staff John Kelly has confirmed the d********g statements of Donald Trump regarding our military heroes. This is from an actual interview. Don't convince yourselves that it is "f**e news". Don't pretend that Republicans are patriots and Democrats are not. The leader of the Republican Party has no respect for our brave soldiers who gave their lives for our country. Just how low can the Republican Party go?

Kelly said, “A person that thinks those who defend their country in uniform, or are shot down or seriously wounded in combat, or spend years being tortured as POWs are all ‘suckers’ because ‘there is nothing in it for them.’ A person that did not want to be seen in the presence of military amputees because ‘it doesn’t look good for me.’ A person who demonstrated open contempt for a Gold Star family – for all Gold Star families – on TV during the 2016 campaign, and rants that our most precious heroes who gave their lives in America’s defense are ‘losers’ and wouldn’t visit their graves in France."

Thanks for posting this - I just read it during breakfast. I just don't get how anyone that served, has family that served or had someone die for their country support Trump. I understand that people are looking for a conservative, not a liberal, but Trump's actions have repeatedly show his agenda is for him, not the country.

The other thing that gets me is that the people who worked with him and served are saying the same thing - Kelly, MacMaster, Mattis and Milley. Civilians such as his Attorney General are saying the same that Trump is unfit for office. These people worked with Trump day-to-day and knew him better than we; shouldn't we listen to their warnings?

That does not mean we want Biden. If another Republican of quality ran against Biden, I think they would win in a walk.

Thank you for your comments. The silence of the other conservatives on this site regarding Trump's despicable comments toward military heroes tells us everything we need to know about their lack of true patriotism.

From a veteran, thanks for posting this. I saw the video of Trump saying this and it disgusted me. Yep I v**ed for him and was happy with my choice at the time but as time goes on I think he is becoming deranged and he scares me even more than Biden. How could we as a nation even begin to think about electing either one to the most powerful office in the world? Can't we find someone else with a little sense?

After all these years of listening to the defenders of Trump, we have finally learned how to silence their nonsense. Apparently, even the most extremist Republicans have no response to Trump's d********g comments about our military heroes. None of the frequent conservative ranters on this site are writing any words to defend our military against the leading Republican candidate for president. Shame!

So my father who was wounded at Dunkirk then went on to fight in the North African desert then through Sicily then up through Italy and was wounded and captured at Anzio and two of the GI's he was with were k**led and one wounded so badly he died in hospital, they we're all losers. Maybe they should have ensured bone spurs were present when called up.

Trump's popular War On Libs begs the question ... what the hell happened to my fellow Yanks? That this incompetent, ordinary, low nothing-burger, so thoroughly captured enough *feet on the ground to be a real worry for US democracy.

* He/they/rally merch calls them 'patriots'
