One of the more interesting paing jobs of the aircraft in Reno was this warhawk. Specfically the shark teeth. The teeth are often seen on fighters, even today.
I think the yellow number is a decal, as each racer in the event needs a number. There is no 'painted' number on the aircraft - which tells me that this aircraft is more of a show plane than racer. Would not like to see this paint job ruined.
I don't recall seeing it here before. Kudos to the team for showing up at the last event.

I believe the typical paint scheme of the "Flying Tigers" of WWII or pretty close.
