Just walking into the PP sky
The composition grabs me immediately. Visually unique and fascinating!
For me, the sky distracts from the strong elements of the rest and adds unnecessary clutter. Tell me why you love it

Thanks Linda....since you asked....I like the tonal range and focus on the solitary figure...the sun on his shoulder, the lines in the shirt, the black trousers, and the (personalize) sky gives some drama...(The sky before pp is really a dull blank spot). But that's just my opinion

It's not "just" your opinion; you're the photographer with the vision! That's why I asked
I'm grateful to understand what you saw and created, and I appreciate your taking the time to have the conversation.
I dont think the guy walking is a happy chap, the slump of his shoulders, hands, sort of conveys deep thought as he seems to be aimlessly wandering along . The dark clouds on the left, the graffiti on the seawall all provides a sombre feeling but the highlights in the clouds suggest hope at the end of the tunnel
Great shot.
Interesting angle for this shot Ron. I like it!

Hi Tony.....thanks for the thoughtful, analytical comments. I'm not sure what the subject was thinking on that morning walk? Actually this seawall location seems to invoke a range of emotions for the people that walk and run along it....here's a different (maybe happier) shot on a bright, cloudless day....

The curves and relatively simplicity of the elements (including the sky, lol) are quite a magical setting for the playful couple. Wonderful!

Oh dear, I was referring to your second pic (with the "playful couple")

Thanks Linda, understood...it's the same location, different day, different (no) sky, and different mood. The (unknown) playful couple was just doing their thing on a nice sunny day in this lake frount location
The curved wall and the rounding walkway presented a moments chance capture isolated subjects.....there's a lot of interesting traffic coming around the curve....it's all good
