As a kid, I loved Red Skelton! Clean humor, reverent, patriotic and funny as ****.

Thanks for commenting. He was a great comedian.
Growing up in Evansville, I can say that he is a much loved favorite Hoosier.

We used to watch Red as a family every week when he was on: The Number One show on TV
Then, about 40+ years later, I was watching a rerun with my 90-year old mom, and Red was mugging like crazy and doing his schtick. Mom looked at me, and at nearly the same time, we asked each other, "What was wrong with him? And we used to laugh our butts off!" Time changes tastes, that's for sure
A lovely shot

I attended two of his live shows in 1979, one in Atlanta, GA, and another in Raliegh, NC. Great shows, fantastic humor and a genuine humanitatian.
