I photographed this moth a few hours ago and it appears to be similar in color to one I submitted a while back. That one was called a Looper Moth. This appears similar but not quite the same.
I submitted three photos because on at least two there appears to be a tiger, maybe, image on its back with the two eyes toward the end of the tail and the nose near the head of the moth. I know some animals and insects have a design on their body somewhere to scare away predators. First, does anybody else see this design? Second, is it to scare away predators?

I have no idea what it is but it's a cool shot
I have no clue but I see a cat's face on its back. Nice set.

Thank you very much kpmac. I am glad you see the face and I am not crazy. OK I may be crazy but not blind.
