OK, so I click on "Home" in the upper left hand corner to view "Main Photography Discussion" (as was recommended) for today, 9-27-23. I go down the list and in the first column I notice a comment from Gene51 (whatever happened to him anyway?) and when I checked the date it was May 1, '21. Looking further: Jun 10, '18

I know many here like the changes (hard to tell if I'm in the majority or minority from what I've been reading), I don't. At 75, I'm not a big fan of changes. I'm trying, but I don't see the benefits of these changes. How is it bringing the forum up to date? Can someone enlighten me (sans sarcasm) please?
Seeing 5 year old responses in today's Main Photography Discussion makes no sense to me. I haven't even checked my other favorite topics. I'm viewing less often because of these hiccups. I'm not threatening to leave the column, because let's face it who would give a hoot?! I'm just saying that I miss the "good 'ole UHH". Maybe I'll get a dog to occupy my time.

I agree, I was just thinking the same thing. I am not much for changes either. I liked things the way they they were. Maybe we will get used to it. I don't know.

It's there because someone "Niteman3D" added a new post to the thread today. If you add a post to a very old thread it would come up to the top.

I'm not a big fan of the new format either. It's a senseless change.

It seems like someone in the administration has a son in third grade and left him try what he learned in school to impress the teacher.
