I’ve given the new format a ride. I went in with an open mind. I haven’t a clue the reason for the new format, if you want to call it that, but I’m sure it has to do with an expectation of more money. However, the forum is no longer the fun and interest it had been for me for a decade. I hope Admin returns to the old and logical format.

Before you leave, have you tried logging in to uglyhedgehog.com and clicking "Newest Topics"?
As stated already many times, the forum has not changed. Only the Digest was changed.

It's less enjoyable for me also, I've been hitting 'home' on the top menu, find I've been skipping sections that I once glanced at, what I miss the most was the 'new topics' section, I'd check it a couple of times a day.

Why so? Still the same members, still posting the same things, still arguing same things. Admin didn't change the contents.

On my UHH there is a button at the top labelled 'Newest Topics'. Right between 'Watched Topics' and 'Newest Pictures'.

You don't see Newest Topics in the header?

Just checked the profile settings. There is no checkbox to turn off the 'Newest Topics' button.

Hmmm...
I'm beginning to think that many people think The Digest is the "home page"...
It isn't!

As you probably know, many of us don’t look at the Digest at all. Would you please explain to me what you get out of the Digest that you couldn’t get better by simply looking at “Newest Topics” and “Watched Topics”? You ought to at least try that approach; you have nothing to lose…..

This is beyond sad. The OP says he has been enjoying UHH for a decade (though has commented only 70 times per year during his official membership), yet he is unwilling to spend a single day trying out the alternatives that many of us have suggested over the past four days in the forty-five topics on the subject of the digest format change.

Exactly.
Or they mistakenly think it's an inclusive listing of all new posts/topics..
