I posted a colored version of this image before in the bird section but after spending some time looking at David Yarrow's black and white images (amazing) was inspired to try it in B&W. Just curious what you B&W experts think. Constructive comments are always appreciated.
In my young days, I was always drawn by the black and white images Ansel Adams created and strived for that approach to photography. But then, getting familiar with David Yarrow, I once again am getting the B&W itch. It's kinda bringing a new found enthusiasm back to photography for me. Hopefully I will be posting more in this section.
Have a great day!

I think you're onto something with your minimalistic shot.
It's cool to hear that you have discovered a way to rekindle your enthusiasm. Many of us go through the same at times.
Looking forward to more b&w!

This is very effective and for me, as Linda has observed, it is the minimalist aspect that is so appealing. Nice work Nalu!
Beautiful work on that conversion. I think you have created a wall hanger

There's your calm photo, Linda!
Wow! I like everything about this one: composition, minimalism, toning etc.!
Congratulations on the monochrome work. This photo is my winner of the day.
I like this a lot. Good work
