First - I watched a video done by a film producer about a portable SSD that he loves. It's the Crucial X10 - 4TB for $260. This SSD is small and very fast, so it's perfect for his video production. I don't plan to get one, so I wasn't paying too much attention, but I think there was a connection issue with the X10 - Thunderbolt, maybe. There is also a 4TB X9 for $215, and that connects to any system.

you are correct, someone put a lot of time into the slot car remake of "The Duel"....but funny as that movie has stuck in my mind for all of these years.
