Coopers Hawk in a Downpour

It was raining hard as I watched the rain soak my yard (yea).
Then a young Coopers hawk landed on some driftwood near my
bird feeders, it really looked confused at the pouring rain. After
a few minutes it flew under some juniper trees to try to get out
of the rain.

Well done, I really like the two where the hawk is staring down the barrel of your lens.

Thank you Mike. I shot these thru my kitchen window, my D850/500mm PF
was on the kitchen table at the ready. Settings - SS 1/500, A 5/6, ISO-1100.

Thank you Mike. You know how the thunderstorms happen around here.
Some get dumped on, while other get nothing.

Thank you Jack. Usually when a Coopers hawk arrives in my yard
the smaller birds are on the move, not this time, there was nothing
moving. I think this gave me a few minutes with the hawk uninterrupted.
