Blue Jays are most hostile to anything, anyone, especially a Cat near its nest. This Blue Jay flew in circles around my cat and wrung its neck. It was never the same and died soon after the malicious attack.

Yes, "Butt ugly" would be a good phrase. Tattoo was a neighbor's "hairless cat". The lighting in this photo was poor, but the neighbor's porch was what it was and the cat chose to sit where it sat. I used this photo for another shot with Gargoyles. Unfortunately, Tattoo died a few weeks later... so no retake.
