Blue Jays are most hostile to anything, anyone, or a Cat near its nest. This Blue Jay flew in circles around my cat and wrung its neck. It was never the same and died soon after the malicious attack.

Thank you all for your comments. Tattoo was a cuddle cat belonging to a neighbor. These cats cuddle to keep warm. I only had one photo session; the next month when my neighbor returned from a trip she informed me that Tattoo had died... ðð
Tattoo was a Sphynx cat they are hairless. Cuddly, so as to keep warm.

A young neighbor boy walked thru my backyard too close to a Blue Jay's nest was there. The bird chased the boy home pecking him on the head in dive attacks several times as he ran. It was a sight one does not forget.
