I have come from hardly ever even getting a photograph of a cabbage white butterfly to knowing where they usually sit for portraits for me. I doubt they have gotten to know me as well as I have gotten to know them. They are not very colorful but are beautiful to me nonetheless. This is the same one but in three poses to hopefully portray a little something in each pose. I may not even be able to point out exactly what the differences are but I see a minor difference in each, wings more open, eyes sharper, whatever, I like them. I notice the wings on this one are pretty rough, bedraggled but they don't seem to affect his/her flying ability.

Thanks my friend. I don’t know about that but will agree my photos seem better now than before. That works for me.

Dennis, a job well done. I have a difficult time getting close to them so I enjoy seeing yours.

Thank you very much Gary. I always appreciate your comments and expert advice.
That was/still is somewhat of a problem for me as they don't settle down very often. But I learned they have two places presently where if I stay put they will fly around that area and then land. IF I creep up to the area as I would a deer or elk, looking for freezer meat, I generally will see it within a foot of where I usually find them. Before figuring that out I could never depend on getting a shot. Maybe I can't DEPEND on that now but I do feel more confident anyway.
