Thank you all! Jimmy, I was using my Tokina 100 mm Macro lens at close to minimum focusing distance, which was something like maybe 4 inches in front of my lens hood. I had one unpleasant encounter with one of these. Not the ones I was photographing, tho. Sippy, your remark means a lot to me. Your photos are an inspiration. Thanx!
