The E-mount is the most widely produced and used mirrorless lens mount in the world by far.

This helps Sony remain #1 in worldwide mirrorless sales, and also #1 in mirrorless sales in its home market of Japan. The BCN and CIPA numbers show this.

What do you E-mount users think?

Cheers

I think it is hard to communicate on this blog now, but that was not the question. I like the idea of the new Tamron 17-50mm f4.0 lens. That intrigues me. But personally I would like to see Sony update the 24-105 f4.0 lens with it's new lighter technology. That would be a winner!

I understand. I love my 24-105mm f4 g OSS lens, the most used of my 13 E-mount lenses covering 10mm to 600mm from Sony, Sigma, Tamron, Viltrox. It is also Sony #1 best selling fullframe E-mount lens.

Yes it would be nice for it to be lighter and have a de-clickable aperture ring also.

Cheers and best to you.

Good news for Sony users.

I recall 5-6 years ago when the complaint about Sony mirrorless was the lack of lenses. Obviously this is no longer an issue.

Both these lists are updated as new E-mount lenses are released.
