Excellent. At first glance I thought it would have been a longer exposure than 1/15th, but that probably was slow enough considering the likely wind velocity. I'm grasping at straws since I've never been near anything like that.

Sometimes getting up early and going out with your camera really has its rewards, this was definitely one of those times! Awesome photo of a unique atmospheric event. Thanks for sharing for all of us who either don't get up that early, or who don't live in such an amazing location. Wyoming has always had an appeal to me because of its huge size and lack of people.

Whoops, misread it so early in the morning. Thought it was a sunrise. Either way, awesome shot, glad you were out with your camera that evening!

I had shot a real nice rainbow about an hour before this shot. Went out to finish the chores and saw what was developing and grabbed the camera, thanks for commenting.Sep 23, 2023 07:41:39 #
