Want to see only new main photography topics

This new format is not very user friendly. Is there a way to see in the old format. Active topic has 7 pages, I don’t think we have the time to browse through 7 page. Help!

Have you tried clicking on "Newest Topics" in the main menu?

The new format is to the Digest, not to UHH itself. What I have found to be more useful than the Digest is to use the Newest Topics link. I stopped using the Digest (and unsubscribed from it) years ago. Newest Topics provides the lates topics in all the sections the user is subscribed to. The All Sections link at the the bottom of the page will show all the sections available on UHH and the user can subscribe to the sections of interest, and unsubscribe from the sections that are not of interest. Newest Topics will only provide the recent posts in the section(s) the user is subscribed to.

Click on. 'Filter by Section ' in the upper left corner when you open the site. Then choose your. preference from the drop-down list.

I just load "All Sections" and then the "Main Photography Discussions" sevtion is at the top. Just tap on it and you will only see those posts. I liked it better the old way too, but this method does work.

I agree with you...it's going to take some getting used to. I have enjoyed how it was previously over quite a few years, but evidently the powers that be felt a need for change.
I'm still trying to learn how to operate a phone that's smarter than me, so it might take me a while to adjust to this new arrangement on the Hog. I'm sort of a 'stick in the mid' when it comes to change. Not too excited about this. Maybe this will give me more time for my other duties in the morning now, 'cause it appears I may be spending less time in the new environment here.
Just my two cents worth.

Yes, but I follow 30 sections. Now I have to go Home to get to each section separately. Before, if something new was posted in a section I follow, it appeared in that section on the daily list. How does this make it easier for me to follow my sections? This is a lot of work for nothing gained. Please give us the option of using the old format.

No. I embrace change when it allows me to do something I could not do before, or when it allows me to do something better, even if it takes more work. Learning something new makes life more interesting. But this change serves no useful purpose for me (and apparently many other users), but rather makes it more time-consuming to use the hog.
Is it possible for us to have a choice in the format? I do not know if this is possible, or, if so, how hard it would be to implement. It would be nice to get clarification on this from the admin.

Of course. If I have a choice, I choose what works best for me. Don't you? I don't have time to waste on things that don't work well for me, when I can choose other things to do with my time.
