I just go straight to the attic and start there. Put everything back to where it was.

I find the new format more time consuming to find what I come to UHH for. If there is a choice, I vote for the more organized "old" approach

There's a post from Admin about 2/3 of the way down the Main Discussion page right now explaining what was done and why. That post does not accept replies, so will undoubtedly roll off the front page pretty soon.
Bottom line is that the change was made in order to fit the browsing habits of newer, younger members and to give popular posts from all sections the opportunity to be at the top of the list. I don't receive or use the Digest, so I don't care one way or the other. Competition is moving things forward. The choice seems to be to keep up or be left behind.
