Night Heron (lives in my neighboorhood!)

This Night Heron was born in my development, the parents are not back. I think his brother/sister is around too, but I can't distinguish between them.
These photos were test pictures of the Canon RF 100-400mm which is quite affordable, and the picture quality is good.

That's a fully mature Yellow Crowned Night Heron. Are you sure you aren't photographing one of the parents??
