Need ID on this clock: I just acquired this old clock, but don't know the maker. It has a German movement and seems to keep time for the last two hours. The chimes are very nice.

It appears to be identical to this one except the clock face.

If you open the back, there should be information stamped/engraved on the works that would give you information needed to determine the age and make of the clock.

The works are German, but I can't find any other info. Maybe a clone with good works.

Try NAWCC forums they are the clock and watch experts.They should be able to answer your questions and maybe even give you an approximate date of manufacture.
