Amazing! I hope the footage wins some kind of award, it deserves recognition!

Great capture and photography. Interesting animal interaction. Two dogs, one puma. I wonder what the dynamics would be if pumas hunted in pairs like coyotes. Would the pumas slink off or take the dogs on?

Good question. But usually they don't!

Coyotes are sneaky. They will hunt in pairs in neighborhoods late at night. One will get the attention of their prey. While that one has the attention of the prey, the second one will snag it. Lots of pet cats became coyote food that way. They're not my favorites.

Research has shown that coyotes and English Sparrows have adapted to living close to humans better than any other wild animals. I do not doubt it. We have a family of coyotes in our neighborhood.

I'll tell you our experience, David. We lived in a neighborhood near a lake (10 miles circumference), surrounded by some wild area in an urban area. When we moved in, outdoor cats roamed up and down the street. Pets. When coyotes moved into the park they wiped out the cats.
