After some heavy rains, I came across this puddle on a walking path that I was on. The reflection caught my eye. So I thought i would give it a go.

Good eye Frank, a very appealing shot. If it were mine, and its not, I would edit out the person in the background

Thanks Jack, I thought about that. But for me it just made the whole scene seem bigger.

I didn’t think about that. But I suspect doing that would cut off the tree’s reflection. Since the tree is already cut off on the top. I wanted to emphasize the reflection.

The puddle is long and narrow, so I think it worked well with the trees. I think the woman is just an added bonus.

Nice I love reflections.
I was thinking the reflections in the water could use some more black. The greens in the water look a little too flat for water.

Yeah this reflection was gone the next time i walked by it. I'll play with the color and contrast and see if I like the change.
