By pure accident, we found a functioning synagogue. I imagine that there were about seven Jews in all of Marrakesh, so I'm sure it didn't functon very much. The keeper was a very nasty blind guy who basically told us to get lost..

Another shop. We actually bought an iconic octagnal table in the Medina ... not in this shop ... and in those days we could carry it home on the plane. The table was carved and painted by foot, not by hand. Not enough space here to explain.

Maybe if my wife asked her, your wife would have gone. In any case, from the recent photos I've seen, there's not much there now anyway.
