Trump has an uncanny ability to find or create a path to safety; he has done it his entire life.

His path to safety is coming into view, it's name is chaos. If you're following along you should be hearing the other side of the coin. The side that says part 3 of the 14th amendment does not "fit like a glove". The way to get rid of Trump politically is to defeat him at the polls. The way to make sure he faces actual jail time is to hope that the FEDERAL charges against him are enough to persuade a jury that he is guilty of those charges.

Trump loves chaos, he plays in chaos, he dances in chaos, he positively thrives in chaos. Make that a mantra. "TRUMP THRIVES IN CHAOS" . Jack Smith saw this and has made the federal charges so thin that they will cut right through Trump .... THAT is how you beat him, REMOVE chaos.
All of these new fangled attacks on Trump are nothing more than a path to safety for him.

You have missed his meaning. He was talking about getting something GOOD done, something that had needed doing but lacked the political will. The following is purely an example: This quote could be used to move forward with serious gun legislation after a devastating shooting at a school. Read the quote again and you'll see it in the light it was intended. A comparable quote would be "If life gives you lemons - make lemonade".
