What a great start with wonderful pictures that really illustrate what the Challenge is all about. I love the first picture with her sweet, sweet smile and then the 2 boys, the dancing girls with the colorful skirts, and the sketch (neat).

And...after following everyone else's posts, I started to get some ideas of my own. Been busy, so starting late. These are all from Clearwater FL.

September 16TH rod run soon@

Went to eat at the Mexican place in Laporte, IN. Guy asked us if we were ready for the drive-around that was starting in ten minutes. Mom and I said "Huh?" He said they drive all kinds of cool cars in a rectangle around the town encompassing about a square mile. How long does it last? Oh, not too long. About a couple of hours. We didn't know! And our car was parked by the restaurant, which was basically locked in for the duration so nobody would be crossing the streets on which the cars were running. Well, we stood there, watching when it started, and it was really cool. For the first two times around! That took about fifteen minutes. But after we saw the same cars about fifteen times, we started praying for an earthquake!!! And that was only the first hour 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

I absolutely love foggy shots like this, which really blew me away with their look of perfect isolation and serenity 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

p.14 Tim, you certainly showed how beautiful they are with the mist that looks like fine smoke. Gorgeous.

Some of these may have been posted before. I'm still on the road, so I check in in the mornings. Great photos everyone! I noticed on of my early posts of ssses, it had added an a at the beginning. I'm so sorry for that. But I cannot edit it now. But I really didn't say that.

p.14 what a terrific series - and don't worry about the "a" - who knows where it came from. Maybe an alien took over. LOL

p.15 Torture even if you like cars. I'd not heard of anything like that before.
