Longhorn cows wading through a Texas playa. Nice set of horns! A butcher told me that Longhorns have some of the best carcasses among beef cattle! Something noble about them too...

They are beautiful cattle and your photos are great, but we were in the meat business for 26 years, and I don't want to sound negative, but I wouldn't want to eat meat from those that had ribs and hip bones sticking out. They'd need some muscle to hide those bones.
