The original image is a public domain photo from the Met in New York. It's a terra cotta model for a marble statue done by a French sculptor in 1809. I'll add the original to the post, all other elements are from my library. Background is one I made for this. Thought I'd share.

I like this a lot. Interesting to see the original. The colors work well. Nice result.

I think the background is very complimentary to the subject. Just the right color and tone, and not too much texture to compete. Very apealing work.

Without modification any kid could have taken the photo. Once modified by UncleBuck, it became a work of art suitable for a museum of classic art.

Terrific results. Making your own background as oppose to taking it off the internet or buying one makes a big difference. You are in complete control.color choice I think made this image.
