I saw this the other day.
Nothing earth shattering.
Low light and low contrast it is difficult to get 100% accuracy at 30 fps.
Thanks for posting this. This appears to be part of the solution to the problem I had with my R7 that I posted here about a week ago. Disappointed that Canon covered this up.
Nonsense! There has never been a problem with any Canon camera, and there never will be. 🤣

I don’t think it’s really a defect. It’s knowing the limitations of the camera. I believe all cameras will have certain limitations based on its specs and the low contrast with low light problem could be experienced with most low budget cameras.
The slow readout sensor has been experienced with rolling shutter problems in most DLSRs. I’ve learned something new to watch out for now going forward with new purchases! I’ve also learned from the video the workarounds to get the best from the R7. I’m glad canon explained these limitations and didn’t ignore them! People now know they don’t have a broken camera..
