Luminar Question

I have Luminar Neo with a pack of Extensions. When I do processing, only Noiseless, Supersharp, and Magic Light appear in the right column. If I go to the top of the right column and click on Extras, a window opens showing me five more Extensions labeled as "Installed." How can I access them?

The others are accessed from the Catalog page not the Edit page. You'd drag photos into a "sub window" under HDR Merge, Upscale, Focus Stacking. . .

I looked for help on the Luminar site, and I eventually got access to all eight Extensions, but it wasn't easy. For some reason, three of them are right there in the right Edit panel. It's more complicated to get access to the other five. Some are here, and some are there. For Background removal, I have to go to Layers and Masking. It would have been nice if all the extensions were available in the Edit Menu.

Jerry,
I was just playing with this last night using the Upscale extension on an old jpeg. When you're finished using one of the four Extra Extensions you can see from your catalog page your modified picture will appear on it's own page. You have to then click on it and drag it back into the file folder where it came from or another folder of your choosing. If you drag it back into the original file folder it will appear next to the original image with an extension name noting it's the, in my case, the Upscale copy.

curious.... why did you use the upscale tool on the old JPEG? .....and how were the results?

Jerry, just as an FYI, if you will be using a feature a lot, just right click on it and choose "add to favorites". It will move that feature above everything else and make your own "favorites" list. If you have problems with things being spread out, this might make life easier. (I learned that today in a seminar).

Also, when you have a chance, communicate your suggestion for relocation or grouping, to Luminar. They might not do anything about it immediately, but they are always making changes. They don't know if something isn't working smoothly or not, unless we tell them.

I had just finished watching a tutorial by Anthony Turnham on using the feature so I figured I'd try it while it was fresh in my mind. The subject was of an eagle in flight I took in Alaska long ago. To be fair, the subject was very, very small and the Upscale tool worked to a degree. The Turnham video had a frame-filled subject and the results were much better.

Thanks. What I should do is watch some tutorials on YouTube.
