Is anyone else having issues with Goggle Chrome on their phone? It keeps on freezing, crashing etc... very annoying!
I have uninstalled/reinstalled, cleared history etc. This has been going on for weeks.
It might help to say if it's an Apple or Android.
Maybe how old the phone is. (My OLD phone was no longer getting browser updates.)

Are you using a Google phone?
Sharon got a Pixel 6 has not had an issue with it.
I in turn got Pixel 7 Pro and have all kinds of issues mostly it changes setting when ever there is an up date, alarms turn off, do not disturb turns on without any in put from me, At this time when my alarms sound, on some I have to use my voice to turn them off and others push the button to turn them off while the voice is convenient I don't like it But Have been unable to get rid of it.
I am using Chrome I don't have a choice as far as I know, I prefer Safari!!.

Not on my phone, but I did on my desktop. I started using Firefox instead and is working much better. Chrome doesn't seem to be an issue on my phone.

I LOVE Firefox! So easy and VERY versatile.
Been using it since it was Netscape.
(I only use Chrome and Edge to check website changes.)

I have an Samsung Android. I downloaded all updates and still some issues?
Chrome has had so many privacy, security, and energy use issues, I have never installed it since my initial experience years ago. Besides, it's still a total resource hog on the Mac, and much slower than Safari. When some reviewers test new Apple products, they often load Chrome and open a lot of tabs, then measure battery drain and system performance. It nearly always deteriorates with Chrome.
As an iPhone user, I have Safari on both my iPhone and Mac, and the bookmarks sync between the two. In fact, most of my applications run on both the phone and the computer, and sync between them.
Yes, I had been having those same problems on my desktop computer. Have been using Microsoft edge with no problems.

I totally agree.
As a PC user I use Firefox. All of my portable devices are Apple. Why? Because they just work!!
I used Safari when I had my iPhone 4. I have used Firefox on all subsequent devices because of personal preference.
What can I say, I'm an old Netscape dinosaur!

I use Firefox when a site is incompatible with Safari. And I remember Netscape Navigator 1.0…

(I think it is. More versatile and things (functions) are less cryptically embedded.
I'll only use Chrome or Edge if I absolutely have to do so.)
I started using Safari when I switched to Mac computers ~12 years ago and appreciated its seamless integration with the Apple phone and tablet I used. But a couple of years ago it began erasing one of the bookmark folders from the Favorites bar. It was a folder that had several bookmarks that I used almost daily.
I could recover and restore the folder from a Time Machine backup, but nobody at Apple could explain why Safari was erasing it or how to stop it from happening. I finally got tired of the hassle, even after I'd done it enough that I didn't have to look up how to do it on the internet each time. I switched to Firefox, which I had used on my Windows boxes before the switch to Macs (I too am an old Netscape user) and have had zero problems since.
I've never used Chrome because I assume it somehow feeds every keystroke to Google servers, for eventual analysis and sale to others.
