A hunter was returning to camp on an old dirt road. Suddenly a pig ran out in front of his car and, you guessed it, he hit it. He got out and saw he had broken one of it legs. After looking around he realized that there was no one around so no one saw what had happened. Not knowing who the farmer was that owned the pig he decided to just leave it on the side of the road and keep going.
A few hours later a state police officer arrived at camp and accused him of hit and run. He told the hunter he had to pay for the pig or he was going to get a ticket and be arrested. The hunter said he would pay for it but demanded to know how the officer could be so sure it was him who had hit the pig. The officer replied:
You guessed it, the pig squealed.
