Definitely Alabama is not in the range of this species. It's my understanding, and I am no expert, is that they are pelagic dwellers, only coming on land in Arctic regions to breed. Furthermore, once eggs are laid and the chicks hatched, or before, the males head back out to sea only to return in the spring to breed again. Poor girls!
