Want to buy wireless shutter for Nikon D810. Nobody has the kit in stock. Months on waiting list. Specifically, the kit includes WR-T10/WR-R10 controller (transceiver)and the WR-A10 WR adapter.

For a lot less money, you can try something like this. I used this on my Nikon D810 back in 2018 as a simple, remote shutter release. If you want the additional features in the Nikon kit, this may not help, but it's cheap enough for what it does, and I can attest to the fact that my copy of this worked perfectly.

Greatly appreciated! I am only doing simple single exposures. Nothing fancy or complicated. Just retired and starting to do hummingbirds. Will check this out. Hopefully they have in stock. Thanks again.

I don't remember if I used a cable that came with the camera or if it came with a cable for Nikon, but I didn't have to buy anything else.

It shows a cable in the parts list. Hopefully i dont need to order more parts. I made the order. We'll see.

Save yourself a lot of time and effort by simply buying a Vello Freewave Plus Controller. They are made to fit several makes and models of cameras and do a fantastic job. It is a wireless type and has a range of up to 300' I believe. Mine on my Nikon D5600 has performed flawlessly during the years I have been using it.

Fairly sure that the Nikon D810 uses a 10-pin shutter release. You should check its been awhile since I have used D810.

WR-11a/WR-T10 should work. = Nikon brand. Read at the Nikon website. Link below. I think link will work. Looks like it is stock. Went all the way to the check out & seen nothing about being out of stock.

Thanks everyone for your help. I found out the wr-11 is an upgrade and no need for adapter. All your help has been tremendous. Nikon was not very clear with updates. Thanks again
