Mummies of the World & Aquarium - Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (Sep. 1rst, 2023)
I took my mother with me to the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science for the Mummies of the World exhibit, she wasn't too thrilled about it because it is creepy; however she was very happy at the Aquarium.
I shared the video with some friends and they were impressed with the pictures because I shot most of the pictures with the 35mm f 1.4 Fujifilm on the XT-30 and at f 1.4. Challenging but rewarding.
As always, the video is at

Enjoy!

This cat was mummified naturally, all you need is dry air either hot or cold. I had only a thin layer of focus at 1.4f.

I love this shot, I purposely focused on the basket

Mummy mask this is a well-focused picture at 1.4 F, the secret? I did use bracketing but just two pictures and I didn't have a tripod

I love this shot too.

I could eliminate the reflections but it adds to the creepiness, so I kept it.

Aquariums are difficult to take pictures there is a lot of light with different colors and the surroundings are dark and the water is super bright

There is a lot of work at post but I think the pictures turned out to be very good
