To assist is seeing wildfowl in this 80,000+ acre refuge there is a 12 mile auto route that loops around the main marsh area. The increased moisture we had this spring and summer led to the relatively lush and high level reached by the various plants.
This set is composed of photos taken from various points as I drove around the auto route as the inclement weather gained on me.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks, Dave, notice that no one else was dumb enough to go out that day.

It is very peaceful, even with the bird noise.
I appreciate all those thumbs up.
These are great scenics, Mike. You have outdone yourself here.

Thanks, John, this is my favorite type of photography.
Beautiful, Mike. You got the extra moisture we are badly in need of.

Thanks, Ken, we needed it also.

Awesome photos - and a great place for birds - PNW in on our bucket list to visit. We have Cheyenne Bottoms Wetlands here but with the drought, it is mostly dried up - not going to be good for the fall migrations…
More beautiful scenes. Thanks, Mike.

A real bird paradise, Mike!
Love these Mike! The clouds seem to create their own leading lines.
