Three Cabbage Whites

Today was one great day for photography in my back yard. First off I spotted a Cabbage White sitting quietly waiting for me to take its portrait. Of course I took several. One of them I made into a black and white. Then I spotted two more that landed near me. It is getting so these butterflies now know me and every day I have their neighbors and children land on my shoulder to ask about an appointment. Of course they don't pay much. They are always a pleasure to have stop to chat or at least just STOP to allow me to take photos.

These are very pretty butterflies but I wish they wouldn't lay their eggs on my green veggies.
