The fires may have contributed to the pretty colors and at the end of the day, the best camera is the one that you have in your hand. Besides, who wants to breathe any more smoke than you already did?

I like it but be prepared for someone to criticize you for snapping a photo while driving. I did that also on I-70, posted it here and I was soundly chastised for not having both hands on the wheel by one well intended gentleman. How fortunate we are to have Good Samaritans out there keeping us on our toes. I still like your photo even if you were driving with your feet.
