When you get a quote from KEH and B&H give MPB a shot. They gave me the best deal a while back. Your best bet would be to try to sell it here on UHH.

I just sold my 200-500 and a few more lenses to KEH. Very easy and a few dollars more than their quote.

Selling to KEH, B&H, MPB, or your local camera store will net you a lower return than trying to sell directly. They need room to markup the price a little.
Selling directly does come with a little extra effort for packing and shipping. Postal insurance can be useful in some cases as well.

My preferred reseller is UsedPhotoPro, the used equipment division of Roberts Camera. I suggest adding them to your list if you go that route.
However, selling here is my first choice. Lately, there have been a few really annoying people who will try to lowball the seller, but for the most part the transactions are cordial and satisfactory. For pricing, check eBay and filter to the <Sold> items to see the going prices. For UHH, I try to hit at the reasonable lower end of that scale.
You as the seller will be hit with a roughly 3% fee if PayPal is used, and shipping will vary by location. You can choose to absorb these, or keep them separate for the buyer to pick up. However, there are no fees from UHH, unlike the fees charged by Bay.
Whether you want to consider lower offers is up to you. Selling loved gear, like selling a house, is always hard. Be prepared that you will never get as much for it as you think you “should.”
