Excellent series of a beautifully adorned creature... however that Yellow is a flag issued as a warning "don't fool with me," you will regret it.

They are pretty and useful insects, it is a shame they sting. Nice pics.

Thank you dpullum for your most excellent and appreciated comments. I learned about the danger of a wasp when I was maybe three. No more convincing needed for me.

You are correct. These wasps and other stinging things flit from one plant to another very fast so keeping up with them can be a challenge.
