But, did you run an internet search on "are drug companies gouging the taxpayer"?

No. I didn't need ten gazillion non sequiturs in my analysis. I frankly don't care about how many hits you found. They're not germane to my comments.

Now, back under the bridge, Troll!!

Are you trying to say that you're OK with paying higher prices for medications?

That's not the general consensus of people across the country.

Or is it that your (sic) a shareholder in pharmaceutical companies, and you don't want to see the amount of your dividends paid out fall?

Which is it? Lower drug costs, or higher dividends paid out?

No one is ever happy paying higher costs for drugs. I didn't infer that, ever. Federal government must never be a third party in price negotiations.

Wh**ever the "consensus" is, does not count. If you, and the rest of the general public, had any understanding of how products are costed, you wouldn't make such obtuse statements.

I'm not nor have I ever been, a shareholder in a pharmaceutical company, ever. Nor have I held their stocks within a 401-k or IRA. You always seem to pull lies out of thin air, in a lame attempt to buttress your poorly constructed arguments.

I live in "Realville", somewhere you've never been. Your arguments are specious at best and outright false at worst. You obviously have no idea how a company's products are funded, nor costed.

No one is ever happy paying higher costs for drugs... (show quote)

WHY shouldn't the Federal Government be involved in price negotiations when they're one of the biggest entities paying for prescription drugs in the country, between the military, Medicare, and Medicaid?

I stated as "a third party". If they're an ultimate consumer (Medicare, DoD, etc.), of course they need involvement. Don't be so dense, and try reading my earlier posts.
