This was today's fare of photos. A grasshopper was hiding in some weeds and my on camera flash caught him pretty well. Then there are some assorted flies, a black lady beetle, the butt end of a grasshopper, well you'll see. I hope you enjoy them.

Thank you kpmac for your comment. Yes I did have to sneak up on most of these. I generally am looking down upon my neighbor's ground cover plants. As in big game hunting I sometimes just stand quietly and watch what is below me or I walk quietly along about a 40 foot fence line and look down among the leaves and stems. Some subjects I find by just standing and looking such as a jumper or grasshopper. Other insects come to me. My toughest subjects are those that fly constantly with seldom a stop for even a few seconds. I find it interesting and sometimes get some decent photographs.
