Pumpkin pie for some people but apple for me. Thank You. I will surely try my best. The family isn't having the gathering this year due to too many relatives out of the state living now and too many sick or recovering.

Thank You LARRYR. I will sure try. Nice weather that is supposed to go bad fast isn't idea but at least it's not a blizzard.

Apple Pie and chocolate chip cookies: YUM! I like both of them. I have good memories of helping make the chocolate chip cookies when I was younger. Some of the batter didn't make it in the oven to cook. Ate it right off the spachula. Tasted good.

My youngest son is in Anchorage, Alaska for his first time being away from his family for a holiday. In fact it is the first time he and his brothers have not been together at my house for a holiday. So just a little sadness there but we are going to Skype him in to the room. Now what I want you smart people to do is figure out a 'smell app' so he will really wish he were here. If you do that let me know.

What am I thankful for? All my new friends on UHH and all the people here who disagree with me but are my friends anyway.

I know the feeling a little bit. I have a lot of relatives who live out of town and due to health issues in the family too for some we are not having the big gathering this year at Thanksgiving and Christmas but at least we are all still around to talk about it. I do not know how to make apps but I can check around as that app would be so cool.

Sorry to hear about the relatives, getting old certainly is not for sissies that's for sure.
