Anyone stay up to watch it?...my wife and I did.
All we have to do is go outside and look Northeast...and voila...space rockets.
I have seen two Saturn V's go off...including the big one with Armstrong.
I have seen many Challengers go off...and was living in Cocoa when the first night launch ever went off....brilliant.
But I have never seen one this beautiful...and I'm talking gobsmack beautiful.
When the boosters separated...the gases were still very hot...and it made a brilliant illumination in the nightsky...
Constantly changing patterns...glowing in the darkness.
Best one ever...hands down. If you haven't seen video ( I haven't) of it...hopefully it was captured.
Best ever...

I'm usually disappointed by my attempts...I'm still two hours from Cocoa.
So we went for a late night walk on the property with the dogs at 1:30.
It's a better show with binoculars from my home.
But yes...check out the video...best I have ever seen.
Waiting for the heavy lifter to go again. The first time it lost engines bc its blast heavily damaged the launch area, and the chunks damaged engines and also the steering. That is why it went awry and had to be blown up. Elon is nuts, but he is interesting.
He is a character...and a nice contrast from government work.
Drove to the other side of the state and stayed in Cocoa, got up at 3am, walked out on the beach and it was postponed until the next night (morning). Others on the beach were also disappointed. Second time this has happened. One day it will go off on schedule! LOL

Yes, that happens all to frequently.
We caught the Starlink launch last night as well....but by surprise.
Out walking the hounds...and off she went...complete surprise.
Love the night launches...
Download the app "Night Sky" ... you'll be amazed at how many Star Links that Space X has put into orbit ... it's like a thick carpet of communication satellites.

My wife does all of that...
I told her that night...she was slipping...
Over a year ago...we did see some strange lights in the sky...I know my constellations pretty well.
I was looking at the Big Dipper...and there was a 'second star'...and there should not have been...very bright.
I realized it was moving...which was...perplexing.
E-mailed a friend who has a 16" telescope with the full observatory built right into his place...he's into it.
He told me it was probably a satellite adjustment...which made sense.
