For the better part of 2019, my wife planned our trip to Europe for the summer of 2020. Then COVID came on the scene and the trip was put on the back burner until this July,August 2023. In 2018 we visited Krakow Poland and fell in love with the city. We decided to go back and explore some more of Krakow as well as several other polish cities. Our primary mode of transportation was by train. A first for us but I can assure you it won't be the last. So, let's start with Krakow airport. After flying all night we landed in London and made our connection flight to Krakow. Landing at the Krakow airport on a Sunday the line through customs was long and tiring.

Apparently you did not miss carrying a regular camera. Really nice photos.

Thank You! I did take my Lumix micro four thirds along for the trip. I used it occasionally for close up shots. It has a 360 zoom. It has a Leica lens, is extremely light and takes good photos. We had friends join us in Amsterdam. He brought his Nikon 850 with a backpack fun of lenses. He called it a brick. LOL. On this trip, my wife and I averaged 7-9 miles of walking each day. There was no way I was going to lug around my heavy nikon camera!
I use a Peak Design strap called the Leash to carry my phone and my small Lumix camera. Very good straps. I usually adjust the straps so that the phone slides into my side pocket. The strap is easily removed by snap on snap off connectors.
Really nice, interesting series. Thanks for taking us along on your walks in Krakow. Seems the iPhone 13 Pro Max did just fine. Nice images.

Thank You. I have to agree with you. It does lack in the telephoto reach capacity and for those situations I used the small Lumix micro four thirds with it's 360 mm reach.

That’s an interesting looking camera. It looks to be fairly compact.

Which model Lumix is that?
Your usual top flight work! I could have done without the first shot, some memories should stay lost (LOL).

Your phone took fantastic shots. The first one captured the frustration of the people. The food Sweets looked really delicious. I know you were showing the strap but my eyes went to the food. Great shots of the area all tack sharp and dynamic colors. Does your camera have interchangeable lenses?
Johnny
My son lives in Krakow; your photos were a nice reminder of our time spent with him a couple of years ago.
