We had some rain yesterday and through last night. When it started drying out this morning I took my Sony out to my neighbors's flowers to see what was there to be photographed. This was it. I hope you enjoy them. There is two wasp photos but I have no idea what type it is. You will see one is wasp in flight but clearly out of focus.
In the third photo, the bee-fly, is the pointed thing coming out of his face, his tongue?

In my dialogue you might have noticed, "You will see one is wasp in flight but clearly out of focus." I included it as a not so bad, OK very bad, photo of the wasp in flight so if anyone needed an outline of the wasp for identification it would be there. That is the only reason and I still stick by that reason for identification purposes.

Yes, I was not sure what type of wasp I had photographed and so I added the terrible wasp in flight photo only for an outline of the whole wasp. Probably needed but I thought maybe.
